Obtaining your CDL permit can be a daunting task. One of our trainers specializes in the written information for the tests. If you are struggling to obtain your permit for any reason let us know, we can help make testing an easy process. It's important to know that we cannot schedule your road test until you obtain your permit as the waiting period is 14 days. 

Before you come in for your first day of hands on training we will get you set up to complete your entry level driver training that is required for all first time drivers. ELDT is an online course that will go over all the basics and gives short quizzes on the content. You need to score 80% to pass the ELDT- don't worry you can retake the quizzes!

As a commercial driver it is important to get cleared for driving by a medical professional. Before your road test, you need to obtain a DOT Medical Card which will be submitted to the state for records. We are able to help schedule your DOT appointment and walk you through this process. 

One of our trainers will work with you and your schedule to complete training. We work with you until you feel comfortable and until we know you will succeed. Training covers the four sections that are examined during the road test.

2. Air Brakes or Hydraulic Brake Test

3. Vehicle Control/ Backing Maneuvers 

4. On the Road Driving
