The DOT has established new training standards for entry-level truck operators that became a requirement on February 7, 2022. This new training standard includes classroom and behind-the-wheel training.
This rule also creates a directory of FMCSA-approved trainers that are authorized for entry-level truckers to receive their training from.

Veritas Crane's truck driving course will provide you with the knowledge and experience needed to complete your CDL license, according to the new ELDT guidelines. We will start you with the basics and move through everything you need to know to feel confident behind the wheel. The training includes theory and a great deal of behind-the-wheel experience as well as learning to understand the actual truck.
Classroom Theory - 40 Hours
Includes 33 sections of training. All sections must be completed with a satisfactory score before moving onto the Behind-the-Wheel section of the course.
Behind the Wheel & Range and Skills Training - 40 Hours
The CDL training will consist of 40 hours of behind-the-wheel, range, and skills training. There will be no more than one student per training in the class
