
CIC provides OSHA complaint certification and recertification for operators and riggers for mobile cranes. overhead cranes, articulating booms, digger derricks, service trucks, gantry cranes, etc. CIC is an independent ANSI accredited organization that is focused on providing cost effective training.
Operator certifications are valid for 5 years. If you are a first time operator or your certification has lapsed you will need to go through a one week course that covers the basics of safe operation, understanding your crane, reading and calculating load charts, and safe rigging and signalperson practices. Along with the classroom portion you will be expected to take and pass written exams and pass a practical exam before obtaining certification.
Like the first time certifications, you will go through a week long refresher course as well as learning anything new that has changes. For recertification, you will be expected to take and pass written exams. You are not required to take a practical exam again.
Certification training is usually one full week but can vary based on class size and experience.

Thursday- Written Exams and Practical Exams
Friday- Make Up/ Buffer Day
